Welcome to St. Matthew Faith Community. I hope that we are able to meet the spiritual needs of you and your family. The Livonia/Lakeville area is one of the fastest growing communities in the Rochester area. Whether you are visiting our parish or joining our faith community, it is my sincerest hope that you will feel welcome.

Due to the fact that our community is growing so quickly we are relatively young as parishes go, having only been founded in May of 2004. However, with our "newness" you will find that we are very active and have a great deal to offer both youth and adults. As you check out our web page I think you will agree.

As a faith community we have worked very hard at making people feel welcome when they walk through our doors. You will find people greeting you at the door as you enter (one of our many ministries here at St. Matthew). Don't be too surprised if one of our ushers invites you to bring up the gifts during the celebration of the Mass. Even the design of the church itself was done so that no matter where you sit, you will feel included and a part of our worshipping as one.

At one time or another you may have seen a sign in a store that read; "If you don't see what you're looking for, ask." The same holds true for this parish. If there is a particular need you have we will do our best to meet it or at least direct you to where that need can be met.

St. Matthew Faith Community is a group of people growing in faith and in celebrating Jesus Christ each day. We are glad you're here.
