For any parishioner interested in the convenience of Automatic Withdrawal as their mode of giving to the church, here are some details: Each week or month, the amount you wish to give to the church is taken from your account, just as RG&E or any other company that encourages automatic payment. Advantages to this method of giving are that it does away with envelopes and always trying to find them or remembering to bring them to church. It also enables St. Matthew Church to have a steadier flow of income. Would you consider adopting this mode of giving??? When there is a funeral mass, there will be no 9 o'clock daily mass and the intention will be rescheduled.
If a funeral or memorial service (not a mass) is scheduled, there will still be a 9 am mass that day.
