Faith Formation and Youth
Ministry
Faith Formation is an integral part of our community.
During the school year, September through May, we are busy enriching the
spiritual lives of our children in grades kindergarten through 8th grade
with religious education studies and sacramental preparation.
Our middle and high school youth are encouraged to
participate in Youth Group. Youth Group serves: To empower young
people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world today; To
draw young people to be responsible participants in the life, mission, and
work of the Catholic Church; To foster the total personal and spiritual
growth of each young person.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee oversees the church's finances and budgeting and acts as
a sounding board to Father Hayes. The committee administers the funds
received to pay necessary bills for the management of the church and for the
benefit of its parishioners.
Council Representative: Frieda Hamill.
Parish Life Committee
The Parish Life Committee works to embrace all of our parish family through
social functions, including coffee hours, parish breakfasts, picnics, St.
Patrick's Day and fall dinner parties, and much more.
Council Representative: Joanne Pipitone.
Social Ministry
Social Ministry, headed by Deacon Roger Loomis, is an outreach program that
provides our parishioners with the opportunity to minister to those in need
and offer a helping hand to our neighbors. Some of the things that our
social ministry provides are helping at the Ecumenical Food Cupboard,
Christmas Giving Tree and Baskets, Occasionally Drive for the Elderly,
Prison Ministry and Operation Rice Bowl. A major task recently taken
on by our social ministry program was providing significant help in planning
and building a home in the village of Honeoye through Habitat for Humanity.
Ministry to the Homebound
St Mary's has several parishioners who minister to the homebound by regular
visitations to bring Holy Communion to those who are unable to attend Mass.
If you know of someone who is homebound and desires Holy Communion, please
contact the parish office at 229-5007 to make arrangements for a visit.
Council Representative: Deacon Roger Loomis
Stewardship
Committee
Everyone has talent and skills which they can share in some special way with
our faith community to join with others in doing the necessary and rewarding
work of the parish. Take the Time and Talent survey to determine your
area of interest.
