Hello and welcome to St. Mary’s web page! If you are new to our area, you will find St. Mary’s Church in Honeoye nestled in the heart of the picturesque hills of upstate New York. We are not far from the wine country of Naples or the dairy country of Livonia where we are clustered with St. Matthew Church. Both parishes are part of the Diocese of Rochester, New York.

If you are unfamiliar with the term “clustering,” it simply means that two faith communities (in this case St. Mary’s in Honeoye and St. Matthew in Livonia) share one pastor. The clustering of these two churches began in July of 2007.

Whatever season you may find yourself visiting St. Mary’s, I think you will agree that God’s handiwork is evident in the beauty of nature surrounding us. As beautiful as the nature of the area, the beauty of the spirit of the people of our parish is equally impressive.

We are a faith community of about 400 families that has been very active in our local community. You don’t have to be here long before you will receive an invitation to participate in any number of activities sponsored by St. Mary’s or one of our other Christian denomination churches in the area.

Whether you are visiting, just passing through or have moved into the area on a more permanent basis, we hope that you will consider joining us in celebrating the life of the living Christ and please know that you are always welcome here.
